quick catch up of January

January was lots of fun Emmy and I got to go to the zoo with my dad which was kinda cool cause there is hardly any people there and the animals were a lot more active. I don't think i have ever seen the wolves out at the zoo until I went this time, also all the cats were more active. Anyway we had fun and Emmy got to try her first icicle which she loved !!!! We also celebrated Ken's 25th  Birthday on the 15th and my 29th (Yikes!!!) birthday on the 21st. My good friend Emily took me out to dinner and a movie for my birthday on Friday and on Saturday My family took me out to dinner at Applesbees :-) Dave and my family all chipped in to get me a nook color which I LOVE!!!! Thank you !!!! I love you guys!

We also had a week and half of warm weather which we took full advantage of ....the kids loved it and so did we!!!

christmas day 2010

Christmas eve after the kids had went to bed we hung up sheets to block the living room so the kids could not see inside or get to the presents until after we had our traditional Christmas breakfast! So after a yummy breakfast of delicious omelets and cleaning it all up, we had the kids line up at the sheet until we took it down. Then they all sat on the ground while papa came out in his musical Santa hat and did a little jig for them :) the kids thought it was great and all wanted to have a turn wearing the hat and imitating papa's dance, it was fun to watch. We usually have some order to opening presents but this year there was just way too many little kids for that to be possible! After all that mess was cleaned up, well most of it, we went down stairs to play the new xbox kinetics. It was really fun to do and gave you a workout and quite funny to watch! The rest of the day was spent playing games, chatting, and of course eating :)
It was a great Christmas and so fun to have just about everybody there.

New Years Eve

I know this is a little backwards posting new years before christmas but im still waiting for some christmas photos to get loaded on the computer and did not want to get to far behind. So here it is New Years Eve.
For New Years we all went over to Shelly's house for some really really really yummy dinner! Seriously I hurt myself I ate so much! Thank you Shelly for having us over and feeding us. After that (As sad as it is) we all went home and just watched a movie. I dont think any of us made it to the New Year! Im pretty sure we all fell asleep until I got a text from one of my friends that woke me up at 12:06, I then woke up Dave and said Happy New Year and then fell back asleep. :) Sad Im getting so old! I still thought it was a pretty good New Year spent with the ones I love.
